Extremely tasty food, with friendly staff. They provide with local japanese cuisine. 3-5 minutes of wait before getting a seat, which totally fine. Highly recommend.

An extremely busy restaurant, especially on weekends, seemingly even more so after being featured by バナナマン. The udon is incredibly delicious and has a great chewy texture. Their seasonal menu includes Hiroshima-style deep-fried oysters, which are highly recommended. Additionally, for those who enjoy a thick, starchy sauce, the Benten Udon (べんてんうどん) is also worth trying. Although the restaurant has four parking spots, finding a space during meal hours can be quite challenging. As others have suggested, it’s best to either arrive right when they open or visit in the afternoon outside of peak dining times.
“The Big Black House” serves all types of udon. Udon is first rate. Chewy and slurpy.
Very popular and crowded. Before entering the restaurant, the waiting time was about an hour for the weekend. Taimeshi menu is recommended.
Every menu were reasonable price and food amount is alot! I enjoyed every foods here. One thing i felt sorry about was time, because food comes out slowly. Anyway its good restaurant to go!
Best meal I had in Matsuyama. Curry udon was great. The staff doesn’t speak English but they have an English menu (limited items).
Awesome tai meshi (seabream rice) – Ehime’s signature! Very popular place. Had to wait awhile for the food.
My Japanese friend introduced. It was really good taste and the staff were friendly.
